The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) is the creator of CES 2021 (https://digital.ces.tech/home), a digital experience connecting exhibitors, customers, thought leaders and media from around the world.
The new format allows participants listening to technology innovators, knowing cutting-edge technologies and latest product launches, interacting with global brands and international startups.
Our startup VirtuItaly has been selected by Italian Trade Agency to bring Italian innovation in art&creativity at CES 2021.

Global EdTech Startups Awards 2020

Global EdTech Startups Awards (GESAwards) is an initiative led by a group of leading education innovation organizations from across the world.

They organized a contest for global startup, where the Awards identify, showcase and recognize the world’s most promising EdTech startups of the year.

The GESAwards final will take place on 23rd January 2020 at the BETT Show arena in London. Over 4,000 EdTech startups from more than 80 countries and 6 continents have applied. VirtuItaly is among the 15 selected to present its own vision in the BETT Show arena at London EXCEL.

Represented by the CEO Marco CappelliniVirtuItaly will present its vision for the future of EdTech, in particular for art and creativity.

From immersive&interactive digital exhibitions, like Renaissance Experience, to cloud app powered by ArtCentrica Platform, to AI applications, Centrica envision new ways to teach, learn and appreciate art&creativity.

REIMAGINE EDUCATION AWARD 2020

Reimagine Education (https://www.reimagine-education.com/) is a global conference and competition, open to educational innovators from all around the world. The conference brings together edtech startups, academic faculty from top institutions, Chief Innovation Officers, university leadership, teachers, and other stakeholders in the future of higher education teaching and learning. 

Among the almost 1500 nominations presented in the thirteen categories for this year’s award, the Board of Directors of the Reimagine Education Award of Wharton-QS has selected only 12%. ArtCentrica has been shortlisted for the ICT Tools for Learning and Teaching award.

ArtCentrica is a cloud application that includes many works from the artistic heritage of the Uffizi Galleries and the Pinacoteca di Brera, with high resolution images, suitable for any interactive whiteboard.
Teachers and students are able to explore more than 1200 artworksidentify the details of the composition and discover its correlations with the details of others. It is also possible to measure and compare them as well as use the more than 20 lessons in the application to deepen the study of masterpieces like “Annunciation” from Leonardo Da Vinci, “Allegory of Spring” from Botticelli, “Lamentation over the Dead Christ” from Mantegna and many others.

This application represents the future for the study of the art world.

MindCET Accelerator 2020

MindCET is a center for innovation and technological development in education, founded by the Center of Education Technology-CET. VirtuItaly participated in the Global EdTech Startup Awards 2020 and has been selected as the Italian representer in the final in London in January 2020. MindCET (organizer of GESA Awards) has shortlisted and then selected VirtuItaly, beneath more than 300 global startups, for their acceleration period May 2020-October 2020. VirtuItaly is the only Italian startup selected together with a South African, a Mexican and 5 Israeli.

Open Innovation Contest 2019

VirtuItaly was one of the seven winners of the Harmonic Innovation Contest (HIC), and reached the final of the Open Innovation Contest held in Milan, at the Cariplo Factory. The Open Innovation Contest is organized by NTT Data Italia, moderated by Claudia Pensotti (journalist Class CNBC).

In these kind of competitions it’s important to get to the finals because you give visibility to your reality.

Giorgio Scarpelli CTO & Head of Innovation NTT Data Italia and Kotaro Zamma, Head of Open Innovation and Business Incubation NTT Data Corporation will talk during the contest.

VirtuItaly will be represented by co-founder and Digital Exhibition Manager Paolo De Rocco.

Marco Cappellini, CEO and co-founder Centrica, intervenes in the session Smart Tourism (chaired by Gianni Cancellieri) together with Edoardo Colombo and Claudia Vernotti, with conclusions of Undersecretary Mibact Lorenza Bonaccorsi.
